I have very narrow and bony feet, and I have an extremely difficult time finding sandals that fit well, look good and are comfortable yet slightly dressy enough to get away with at work in the summer. This was truly the first sandal I've found that hit all the marks in a stylish package. However, after five days of nearly constant use, the glue in the right heel pad came unstuck, and the leather pad began rolling up in a most annoying way. I brought them to a shoe shop, which added more glue, but within a few minutes of walking the same thing began happening. The heel pad gets unstuck and then starts rolling up, and then you are forced to step on the leather roll-up. Annoying! I returned them and got a new pair that did not have the rolled-up tag problem. (Worthwhile to note: A second pair of Pikolinos in a completely different style -- and they had exactly the same problem! This company seriously needs to redesign the leather sticker glued just below the heel. Major design flaw.)

Other than that complaint, the leather upper is of high quality -- zero blisters right out of the box. The style is great for professional summer outfits -- pants, skirts or bermudas, and then you can also wear them in more casual settings. I'm AA and the standard width was wide (as all shoes are) but the gladiator strap makes all the difference. I get a lot of compliments on these shoes and my other Pikolinos.
