I read a previous review which mentioned that the `bow` design at the front of these shoes came off after she wore the shoes. My experience was that the bow was already off before I wore the shoes. Yes, the bow is glued on and comes off as it does not properly adhere to the leather. I was amazed at the low quality of these shoes - Sesto Meucci sells well here at amazon and other online sites. These sandals had one layer of leather - the inside did not have a backing at all, so the leather is very thin. I ordered a size 9, which is my usual for italian made shoes. These were about a half size too big. If these shoes didn`t have the bow design and had an inside lining around the shoes, they would have been great. I mean, red espadrilles, who could have resisted.
